Calendar - Today we learned our  days of the week song, said the date and dressed Charlie for the weather.

Today we also completed a class graph about healthy snacks to find out which fruit is the most liked in our classroom.

Independent Reading - As part of our daily 5 students will look at stories, do picture walks, and listen to others telling stories.

Journal -

Today we began to review our knowledge on shapes. We talked about what a square is and something's we see around us that are square. We then wrote in our journals this is a square. (Some of us traced it) Once we were done we drew a picture to match the sentence. Take a look:

today we has a very special visitor from a dairy farmer. She taught us about healthy eating and why it is important to us. We played some fun games and sang some fun songs!

We collected some leaves on a nature walk outside and turned them into birds!!!

We ended our day with the SK students! We were introduced to pumpkins and how they grow with a fun Franklin video. This is to kick off our pumpkin themed weeks ahead of us for Halloween.
