Important Dates
May 27 - Track and Field Day - gym uniform to be worn
June 3rd – Arts night
June 4th – School Spelling bee (Justin, Arya, Marcus)
Parents you are all invited on June 10th @ 2:00-330pm to come and watch the JK-Gr. 2 GRADUATION!!!!! Each student will walk across the stage and receive a certificate of completion for their grade. At this time three awards will also be handed out (per grade) for Language, Math, and UOI.
(THIS IS ALSO CASUAL DAY; STUDENTS CAN COME TO SCHOOL DRESSED IN THEIR "GRAD" OUTFITS!)
For students in Gr.3-8 their Graduation starts at 5pm, everyone is welcome to attend even if they do not have a child in this grade range.

Calendar - Today we learned our days of the week song, said the date and dressed Charlie for the weather.
Independent Reading - As part of our daily 5 students will look at stories, do picture walks, and listen to others telling stories.

Today we made a book about being thankful that will be our reading for our reading homework this week!

Today we learned the letter Oo, we practised our song about it and the sound letter Oo makes, and made a list of words we know that start with O. We then made an O - Owl:
Math -
Today we learned about graphs and how we must first have a sorting rule. Then we sorta our data and put it in the graph to see our results. We did boys and girls to find out which we had more of in the class. We sorted them into the two groups and graphed. Then we did what food we like best in the class pizza, french fries, or cookies.
Music - today we learned songs about: counting to 100, the planets, months of the year, classroom rules, outside/inside voices, phonics.
