Day 27 (Thursday)

• Book orders due back Oct. 17
• No school Friday or Monday 
• After care invoices were sent home in the agenda on Friday. Please send paymeny by cash, cheque (made payable to St. Jude's Academy), or online plastique website (please note additional banking fees may apply). Payments are due by Oct.17th, after this date late fees will be applied. Please keep in mind after-care begins at 3:45 and ends at 6. If your child is in a program that starts at 4 they will be charged (as stated on program sign up page) for the time before their program (3:45-4:00). Calendar - Today we learned our  days of the week song, said the date and dressed Charlie for the weather.

Independent Reading - As part of our daily 5 students will look at stories, do picture walks, and listen to others telling stories.

Story - The placement student in Ms.Rossi's class stopped by to gain some experience in the JK classroom. He read us the story:

Language -   

Today we learned the letter Oo, we practised our song about it and the sound letter Oo makes, and writing it ourselves. Once we finished we made Oos out of play dough. 

Math - 

Today we practiced writing the numbers 6 through 10 in our workbooks! We did a good job keep practicing at home!!

Music - today we learned songs about: counting to 100, the planets, months of the year, classroom rules, outside/inside voices, phonics.

 UOI -   Today we reviewed the rules of play and how to be a kind friend.
