Important Dates

May 27 - Track and Field Day - gym uniform to be worn

June 3rd – Arts night

June 4th – School Spelling bee (Justin, Arya, Marcus)

Parents you are all invited on June 10th @ 2:00-330pm to come and watch the JK-Gr. 2 GRADUATION!!!!! Each student will walk across the stage and receive a certificate of completion for their grade. At this time three awards will also be handed out (per grade) for Language, Math, and UOI.

(THIS IS ALSO CASUAL DAY; STUDENTS CAN COME TO SCHOOL DRESSED IN THEIR "GRAD" OUTFITS!)
For students in Gr.3-8 their Graduation starts at 5pm, everyone is welcome to attend even if they do not have a child in this grade range.

Day 40 (Thursday)


Halloween costumes worn to school on Fri. Bringing treats is fine as long as they are nut free and something small that does not need to be refrigerated! 
Please no weapons with costumes!

Calendar - Today we learned our  days of the week song, said the date and dressed Charlie for the weather.

Independent Reading - As part of our daily 5 students will look at stories, do picture walks, partner read and listen to others telling stories.

Journal -
Today we looked at our classroom pumpkin and thought of some describing words of what the inside looks like, we then wrote: the inside has/is ________________. Students had to fill in the blank some even sounded out and wrote the word themselves take a look:

Today we learned the letter Mm, we practised our song about it and the sound letter Mm makes, and writing it ourselves

Math -
Today we had to construct a class graph students had to tell me the parts we needed and where things went. 

Music - today we learned songs about: counting to 100, the planets, months of the year, classroom rules, outside/inside voices, phonics.

UOI -   Today we carved open our pumpkin to take a look on the inside
