Day 23 (Friday)

• Book orders went home yesterday and are due back Oct. 17
• Homework folders sent home in agenda 
• No reading homework this week 
• After care invoices were sent home in the agenda. Please send paymeny by cash, cheque (made payable to St. Jude's Academy), or online plastique website (please note additional banking fees may apply). Payments are due by Oct.17th, after this date late fees will be applied. Please keep in mind after-care begins at 3:45 and ends at 6. If your child is in a program that starts at 4 they will be charged (as stated on program sign up page) for the time before their program (3:45-4:00). Calendar - Today we learned our  days of the week song, said the date and dressed Charlie for the weather.

Independent Reading - As part of our daily 5 students will look at stories, do picture walks, and listen to others telling stories.

Language -   

Today we learned the letter Aa, we practised our song about it and the sound letter Aa makes, and writing it in our workbooks! We then practised writing it in our work books

Math - 

Today we reviewed writing and representing numbers 1-5. 

Music - today we learned songs about: counting to 100, the planets, months of the year, classroom rules, outside/inside voices, phonics.
