Calendar - Today we learned our  days of the week song, said the date and dressed Charlie for the weather.

Independent Reading - As part of our daily 5 students will look at stories, do picture walks, and listen to others telling stories.

Story -

Journal - 

Today we wrote apples grow on trees.  (or traced) in our journals. We then drew a Apple tree picture take a look:

Language -   

Today we learned the letter Aa, we practised our song about it and the sound the letter makes! We then made the letter ourselves in our workbooks, we also made a list of all the words that we know that begin with the a sound:

 Please excuse that alligator is misspelled I was writing quick to get all of their answers.

Math - 

Today we practised the number 8. We wrote it, counted to it, recorded the number before it and the number after it, and represented it with objects take a look:

UOI - 

Today we made an apple tree with a poem for our trip tomorrow. We coloured the tree and then used our finger tips to paint the red apples.

UOI Centres-

House, dress up, playdough, puzzles, Mr. Potato head, blocks. Working on sharing, manners, fine motor skills, imaginative play, problem solving and working together.

Please, provide the following for tomorrow:

·         A disposable lunch 

·         A disposable water bottle 

·         Students are required to wear St. Judes’s gym uniform.

·         Rain boots and rain coat

·         Please, LABEL ALL your child’s items

The students will be arriving at Chudleigh’s by a rented bus, which will depart the school at 9:10am sharp. We will arrive back at school by 2:10pm, with a regular home time dismissal of 3:40pm.
