• Reading homework sent home in the agendas and is due back TOMORROW!!!
• New homework added to the home work folder
• Fall Festival permission forms were sent home in the agenda this is a family event feel free to purchase tickets for all family members 
• Chudleigh's permission forms and trip money due back Monday Sept 22nd

Calendar - Today we learned our  days of the week song, said the date and dressed Charlie for the weather.

Independent Reading - As part of our daily 5 students will look at stories, do picture walks, and listen to others telling stories.

Journal - 

Today we continued to work on our sight word of the week AM. We learned a poem about the word AM. In our journals we then traced a line from the poem I am glad. (Some of us wrote it ourselves) Once we were done we drew and coloured a happy face. Take a look:

Language -   

Today we continued to work on the letter Uu, we practised our song about Up Up Umbrella and the sound letter Uu makes, and writing it in our workbooks! 

Math - 

Today we practised tracing and writing the numbers 1-5 and then completed a connect the dots to make the elephant. 

Music - today we learned songs about: counting to 100, the planets, months of the year, classroom rules, outside/inside voices, phonics. Look at us learning the word very :

Today we learned about each others likes and dislikes I showed students a picture of an item and they had to describe whether they liked or disliked it any why: 

Car - Selena - I like black and white cars, because they take me to the park and to grandma's house 

Justin - I like cars because they take you to the airport

Saraya - I don't like cars because I do not have one to play with

Snowman - 

Anthony - I love to play in the snow with my mommy. 

Ariana - I like this picture because when it snows my mommy and daddy help me build snowmen 

Dog- 

I like this picture because I want a dog - Marcus 

I don't like this picture because they scare me - Justin 

Spider - 

I don't like this picture because my mom is scared of spiders - Arya
