Calendar - Today we learned our  days of the week song, said the date and dressed Charlie for the weather. 

Daily 5 -As part of our daily 5 students will look at stories, do picture walks, independent read, partner read, and listen to others telling stories, and practise writing words.

Today students participated in partner reading, students took turn completing picture walks and telling the story in their own words.

As part of our Daily 5 students will practice working on writing (through copying sentences in their journals) or word work (practicing sounding out words, cutting and pasting words into proper sequence to build words.) Today we practiced writing and spelling some of our spelling bee words:

Today we reviewed the life cycle of a plant:

UOI Centres-

Students had to answer trivia questions in order to be able to pick their centre. 

animals,playdough, blocks, puzzles, house centre, art easel (chalk, whiteboard markers, painting) and cut and paste. Working on sharing, manners, fine and gross motor skills, imaginative play, problem solving and working together.
